changes to my work, do I or don’t I?

I thought I was done yesterday with my latest graffiti series mixed media work. The operative word is “thought”. It is so easy to overwork your collage. I try when I work to step back and pause several times as I progress to evaluate shapes, balance, colors, and overall composition. I also, being left handed seem to do the left hand side of my work better to my liking than the right. This piece I’ve been doing seems to be going in that direction. The only way to solve this problem and get the composition to work as a whole is to start over in both the right and left areas. I do this by white washing these areas and starting over. I continue to fight this a problem but always manage to work through it in the end.
Interesting way of working. It’s so hard to evaluate your own work. Can you post an image?
