Do I inspire you?

All the talk about the sad ending of  the life of a music genius brought to my mind how I as a artist is thought of in this crazy world.  I am not comparing my work to him at all but he was a “artist” and so I started to think how do I want to be remembered when I am gone from this world?  My work often is based on music that I love.  The Dave Matthews Band has a song “The Space Between” which I based six of my works on in a series called “Spaces”.  It led me in a new direction and a new learning experience in my work.  When I paint I play music and often find my brush doing strokes to the beat.  Jason Mraz is one of my favorites.  I am inspired by many visual things around me but music will always be my biggest influence.  Thank you Michael for the inspiration.
