So three exhibitions with my work will be coming up this month....Gallery 6pdx in Portland Oregon has my latest small works in a solo show from thru June 2nd. Then a private opening reception for the 3rd Annual Emerging Converging Exhibition opening at the Avant Bldg. 200 Delaware Ave. on Thurs. May 16th and working on a postcard size work for the National Collage Society's annual exhibition at Kent State University, in Ohio June 19-July 20. Hope to meet you at one of these events.

'Joyce Hill is a mixed media collage artist from Buffalo, New York presenting her dynamic urban based collage in Portland for the first time at gallery 6 pdx.
Hill's collage is richly layered with materials including photographs, texts, acrylic paint, and found bits of urban decay. She creates a sense of energy tinged
with an urban loneliness while she deftly manipulates both composition and subject matter. Joyce Hill, who is a featured artist in the book 'Masters: Collage',
will be in attendance for her shows opening night, so come join gallery 6 pdx in giving her a Portland welcome.
