I am delivering treats to all the hard working people in Buffalo and in the suburbs who help me create my work.... You are awesome.... to mat makers, suppliers, delivery men, and my awesome husband who creates beautiful frames for my art. Also a big shout out to all the galleries here and in LA who exhibit my finished works. You honor me every time you hang my work. Finally to all my art friends here and across the country thank you for your feedback coming to my exhibitions, buying my work and most of all being a constant source of inspiration with your work.....
Thank you! I have sold many of these I made for Xmas gifts this year. This one “A” is for Artist, my favorite in the series of 7 did not get a new home..... It is still available and minus the commission charged by galleries is at at great price. If interested send me a text message or it will hang in my studio.... 12” x 12” framed by my husband m/m. After the holidays I will be working much larger on a new series with aluminum....

I am next week, after a big party happening at my house this weekend for a 1 year old will be starting three different series of works. I have left all my commitments to art organizations to take the time to pursue my dreams. I have been going from show to show for so long....I will be doing some large some small works within these 3 series. My love of materials and techniques with mixed media will come into play but mostly it will be what I as a Artist want to do and not what a show dictates.... I am excited and more driven than I have been in a long time. I will share some with my friends here as I go along....Wish me luck in my endeavors as a artist but most of all I will have a lot of fun! p.s. the commitments to exhibitions this holiday season coming up I will honor too.... ...

I need to get my work into a new venue at a new gallery setting other than Buffalo....So any suggestions of galleries around the country send them my way. I think getting your work out there outside your comfort zone gives your work sometimes a different look and perspective changing your view of it as well. I am starting to transfer more images onto metal within my composition and working on wood now too. This piece m/m “Anchored To You” m/m still available! ...

I have started working on a new mixed media painting on wood. I found at a antique shop this old wood block with stains of yellow ink imbedded in it from many prints pulled from it. The warmth that was glowing within it from the marks and having so many prints pulled from it struck me as beautiful. It was very dirty so after starting a idea or central image with collage on it I decided to take a sander to it getting rid of much of the dirt and surprise! I discovered all these shapes within the dirt now gone. It was a very exciting art moment That has never happened to me before while working on my paintings.... I am not sure some of the shapes will hold up once I start painting but a interesting surface non the less to work on....I will be posting more on my process and discoveries this next week as plan to have this one done. ...

over the weekend found this beauty...a wood block from prints. The textures and marks from this block are a wonderful abstract ghost on the block that struck me as a image that needs to come out of the wood it resides in....It is just beautiful! I plan on adding some drawing, transfers, metals and paint to it! I love finding things like this and changing them into something beautiful again. I will keep you posted! Also sending one of my light boxes, and a diptych I did to California for a show....Who says artists are not busy! ...
