what is a good day for a artist?

I think some of my best blogs since starting to write are questions people ask me about my life as a artist. What I feel is a good day with my work is a interesting question. My answer is not what you would think. You would guess it would be when I have finished a mixed media painting that I have been hard at work on for weeks. This, in my case does not give me the greatest satisfaction. I always feel a work is never quite done. What does make me feel I have accomplished the most as a artist in a day? It is to have seen something or picked up a new object in my morning walk that starts me thinking about a “new” direction and starting over again in the “creation” process. The creative idea is the best feeling in the world to me.
