when is it finished?

As a artist it is always a question when we put down our paint brush, cover our gel medium, and say “its done”.  I never feel its quite over when I start to put supplies away.  I always feel there is some color to add over there or a line in the corner.  It is very easy to overwork  so resisting the temptation after you say to yourself “its done” is necessary.  I will be putting down the brush today.  Then look at the work on my easel for a few days just to make sure I am ok with that fact.  I think most artists are never done.
